This film is the film that i watch if I am bored and don't know what to watch. It isn't too complicated and it has an unusual plot. It is a film for both men and women, as there are elements of a number of genres included.
The film is set in a high school, with the usual popular crowd, and the nerds, etc.
Christian Slater plays a bit of a psycho, but he does not appear to be to start with (he just seems mysterious). and for the women reading this, he looks very nice.
Winona Rider is the heroine, who Slater falls in love with. She makes it her goal to stop the "bad guys", with the one problem that she is envolved with them.
Describing the story like this may make it sound less than desirable, but it is brilliant film, so watch it.
